Hello Spring! Thankful you are showing us your warmth and floral beauty. #SpringintoGratitude

Daffodils starting to Bloom at Bayard Cutting Arboretum

I am filled with gratitude after the past three days of glorious Spring weather. Temperatures in the 60s, clear blue skies, and soft breezes. I am thankful to see sunny daffodils gracing my neighbors gardens. Magnolias in bloom. I am trying to go back to the roots of this blog and just share four moments I was thankful for yesterday.

I am always thankful to wake up and try to start my day by thanking all the people who are going to help me today. It's a lovely first thought in the morning. I find when I remember to start my day in this way I notice all the little kindnesses that are generously given to me. Someone holding a door for me, or letting me go ahead in line at the supermarket because I just have three items to pay for. These niceties really brighten my day.

I was thankful to see Rocktopia on Broadway with a good friend. I am a classical violinist and music teacher and was so happy to see so many people enjoying listening to some of my favorite classical works. I loved this fusion between classical music and rock classics. I loved the energy of the celtic
classical violinist Mairead Nesbitt who rocked the violin and made classic Beethoven melodies soar!
Who knew Beethoven's ninth symphony blends so well with Journey's, "Don't Stop Believing!"  The show had the audience dancing in their seats and singing along to classic rock ballads. I loved seeing everyone excited about hearing the classics and famous Opera Arias! I thoroughly enjoyed this innovative show offering. It's a limited run on Broadway and I hope they return for a longer stay!

I was thankful to make my 10,000 steps walking in New York City on such a beautiful day.

I was thankful to have a wonderful dinner at the restaurant at Novotel that has an amazing view of Times Square. They had some delicious healthy menu choices for me! The chicken with polenta was amazing! They even have an outdoor patio where you can enjoy a drink.

I would love to hear what you are grateful for this Spring! You can share your thanks with #SpringintoGratitude on Twitter @Sharingthanks or on my Instagram sharingthanks! The easiest way to share is just write what your thankful for in the comments below.

Get out and enjoy a glorious Spring Day. Cheers!
