Sharing thanks for creative astronauts and a beautiful crescent moon!

Thankful to see this rendition of David Bowie's Space Oddity by Chris Hadfield on the International Space Station. I came across this on my Twitter account and enjoyed watching so much I wanted to share it with you. I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day filled with love and appreciation. Here is what I thankful for yesterday. Thanks to my daughter's creativity. I got 2 home made cards from my daughter's yesterday. Whats cool about this is Becky is 21, and Liz is 18. Gifts from the heart always make me smile. Becky drew a picture and is taking me out to lunch. Liz painted me a picture with a heartfelt note. Saw a beautiful crescent moon last night as we were driving home from my mother-in-laws last night. That glimmer of light is always so breathtakingly beautiful. Thanks to my sister-in-law Laurie who made a delicious turkey dinner with all of the trimmings for Mother's Day! Thanks to all my wonderful friends who are also moms who set me beautiful message

Thanks mother nature for providing us with clean air, drinking water, delicious food and love! Mother's day is Sunday May 12th! Want to thank your mom and show your appreciation! Sharing thanks for an early mothers day!

Central Park Wooden Bridge My family has a weird tradition of celebrating holidays early. For our family, the celebration is being together so we decided to gather a week early so my niece Chelsea could join the fun since she will be returning to take a summer college course. Half of us live on Long Island and the other half lives in New Jersey. This Sunday my sister-in-law Ginny was kind to host this wonderful early Mother's Day gathering. Here are my thanks! So thankful for Ginny, who hosted a delicious Mother's Day feast. I loved the BBQ steak, ribs, grilled vegetables and beautifully decorated chocolate cupcakes. It was great to see my nieces and nephews and my parents. So thankful for having a wonderful MOM! She is a fireball of creative energy! I hope I am as active as she as in my 70s. I am thankful to the traffic gods! We hit no traffic on the George Washington Bridge in either direction on our trip to New Jersey. I drive is always more pleasant when you are n
