Here is what I was thankful for yesterday. So thankful for my friendship nature walk yesterday. I met my good friend Stella and we hiked down to the beach at Caumsett State Park. We spotted several deer families along the path. I have never seen so many at the park. They were fun to watch and were easier to see now that the leaves are changing. Sharing thanks for Blue Diamonds and Fairway!

Blue Diamond Orchids at Fairway! I am hoping that these beautiful blue orchids will cheer up my friends in the Northeast preparing for Blizzard Nemo! The colors are vibrant and exotic. I am so happy they built a Fairway in Westbury! I remember shopping in Fairway when I lived in Manhattan in my twenties on the upper west side. That first taste of Bon Amie Raspberry jam, awesome tea assortment and freshly baked baguettes! Here is what I am thankful for today. I am thankful for my power, my heat, the gas in my car, and the groceries I bought from Fairway yesterday. Settling in for some rest and relaxation as I am getting a blizzard on my birthday! I am thankful for the beauty of Spring flowers sold at the Fairway market. I love seeing fresh flowers. They remind me that Spring is around the corner! I love the fragrant smell. Ahhhh! I am thankful for more early birthday presents. My brother and sister-in-law sent me a beautiful Kate Spade Passport Case! Now I just need to plan a tr...

Sharing thanks for dancing at Jones Beach

Jones Beach Bandshell, listening to "The Obsession" covering the Beatles. I am very lucky to live 15 minutes from Jones Beach. I have so many happy memories enjoying Jones Beach State park. As a kid my mom used to take us to the beach everyday over the summer. I remember doing crafts in the tee-pee and swimming in the salt-water pool and conquering that first jump off the high dive. Here is what I was thankful for yesterday. Thankful to have a nice date night with my husband strolling the boardwalk at Jones Beach. We enjoyed listening to the band and even got some dancing in!  Thanks to the bubble men who treated the crowd to streams of bubbles blowing in the air during the concert. It was fun to watch grown men trying to pop bubbles to the sounds of the Beatles. Thanks to the Gera's! We had so much fun going out to lunch together. We toasted Monesha to have a great semester at Stonybrook! When we get together we always laugh and laugh and laugh. They are such go...
